Run container on macos

On macos port 5353 is occupied by mDNS (Bonjour, AirPlay, Home Sharing, Printer Discovery) see:

Do you know if the's a workaround to this?

I develop on macos ... thst no issue. You need to set the container to host network and also set "use kernel networking for UDP". with this it should be ok

Hm ... in fact wait ... Matter uses UDP, so there are no port bindings needed because thats for TCP (but states this ... I have no real clue from docker ... just basic stuff) SO in fact the container does not need to bind TCP port 5540 or 5353

so, any idea why I cannot connect to Alexa? Is it because I already have a hub from another machine connected?

show me debug log and we might see something. The main thing is that UDP needs to flow ... so make sure no firewall or other network segmentation or such is between it ...
