Not being able to get innerText

I am trying to get the inner text but none of this properties are being helpful for me, am I doing something wrong ?

                url: wpFullPostUrl,
            });

            const root = _htmlParser.parse(postHtml);
            const entryContent = root?.querySelector('.entry-content');
            var intro1 = entryContent?.textContent?.substring(0, 295);
            var intro2 = entryContent?.text?.substring(0, 295);
            var intro3 = entryContent?.innerText?.substring(0, 295);
