It would be so wonderful if there was a record button(!) that a user could press while they're playing around with the application and be able to record the audio output to disk!
Currently, one possible approach is to use something like Soundflower or RME (and other audio devices') loopback functionality to capture the audio stream.

this functionality will probably be a lower priority because in the paper that was accepted, we don't actually say that this functionality is operational yet.
