It is not confirmed, however, the genesis block may be found differently between Linux and Windows. Windows and Linux machines do find consensus. This is being mentioned as additional spaces are present in the logs. Windows and Linux just process data natively differently. The way in which each OS processes data may be the culprit to the performance issues present.
