Json++ language or more json wrappers?

In order to design JSON based APIs, we're going to need some tools to ease the pain of the development of these APIs.

I've got 2 ideas:

• A new language that looks like JSON, but you can write C++ and it compiles down to a C++ header file
• A new set of wrappers and concepts

A new lang

• Too much effort into toolchain and support system for it
• Would require the user to make a new file
• Requires much more documentation to write
• It's a whole new project of its own
• It'll require separation of some related codes for the final user
• No annoying C++ syntax would get in the way

A library

• Less effort
• It can be used as a library
• It's practically half written already
• Have to make it work with whatever C++ gives you
• Type safety problems
