We should be able to send out notifications for the following (and users should be able to turn notifications on/off)

  • Sunday Morning Service Starting (takes directly to live video)
  • Live site-wide event starting (takes directly to either the live event video, or to a zoom page)
  • Live site events (if you are signed up for Newmarket, then newmarket events should pop up only)
  • Homechurch starting (takes you directly to zoom or whatever software is being used)
  • Prayer, Compassion and Weather notifications
  • News
  • Targeted towards specific users (or groups of users)...ie staff, coordinators, pastors etc.

Infrastructure

  • Google - Setup notification system backend
  • iOS - Setup notification system backend
  • pinpoint - Setup notification system backend
  • pinpoint - Setup notification system frontend (add amplify analytics)
  • Handle notifications on front end
  • Admin page for sending notifications (ability to schedule events, re-ocurring etc.)
