I closed my other PRs because they were against the master branch and the commits were starting to add up.
These changes are all related to #611 and #189
To test and verify, open Hydra in Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + J (opens the developer console) then press Ctrl + Shift + M (toggles mobile mode).
Most of these changes have little or no effect on desktop (larger resolution) viewers, but they will improve the UX for mobile users.
P.S. as of creating this PR, your develop branch is 2 commits behind master.
