App

Thunderbird for Android

App version

8.0

Where did you get the app from?

F-Droid

Android version

ShiftOS L 2.0 (based on AOSP 8.1.0)

Device model

Shift5me (https://shift.eco)

Steps to reproduce

Go to Settings > Account > Notifications > Notificationlight
(The path is freely translated from DE. Hope it fits.)

Expected behavior

Redirect to the device settings to customise color and frequency of the LED, like K-9 did before the 8.0 update (I switched to TB, so I don't know what the current K-9 version 8.0 does).

Actual behavior

In TB you see a preselected set of colors to choose from. But you are still able to set an individual color for TB in the device settings (Apps & Notifications > Notifications > Notification-LED and add TB there), that overrules the TB settings. So this is confusing, reading e.g. blue in the TB settings, but having the LED flashing green as set for TB in the device settings.

I would prefer being redirected to the device settings, when klicking Notificationlight in the TB settings.

Additionally the TB settings don't give a clue which color tone it is. In my case I have set several blue tones from light over dark to a purpleish to display, which kind of message was recieved (SMS, Mail, Messenger, ...). And I use other colors for other notifications, so changing to red, blue and green for different incoming messagetypes is not an option (for me).
