🎯 The objective

The goal of this project is to improve the experience of users importing their accounts from Thunderbird desktop.

🎒 Resources

🦮 Rules of the Road

🟢 In Scope

  • Make sure sync/push settings have good defaults when doing a QR code import, or make sure the user can set things the way they would in the FTUE
  • Stretch: find a way to prompt existing users to “optimize” their settings
    • e.g. tell users what the default value is after importing and where they can change it

🔴 Out of Scope

  • Change what data Thunderbird desktop includes in QR code

Project tasks

Cross-Functional Tasks

🎨 Design

  • Develop a design for the new in-app notification area

⁉️ QA

  • Add new test cases for release smoke test

🤝 Support - Product

  • Update SUMO articles to better describe the new error situations
