No, you can’t replace the LVC chips with LS chips because they need to run at 3V3 and be 5V tolerant. They buffer and latch the data between the 3V3 bus of the Raspberry Pi and the 5V bus of the Apple II. |

Hello, I'm interested in this project and want to build one. But currently, in my country, it's tough to find the 74LVC245 and 74LVC374. Is there any drop replacement for these two?
Considering 74LS374 and 74LS245 as replacements, do they compatible?
