Explain why I'd want to disable enhanced notifications

This page is helpful but could there be more explanations regarding why I'd want to turn on or off a certain setting?

In particular:

Notifications > Enhanced notifications: Disabled

Why would I want to do this? Is there a privacy concern with having these enabled?

Sorry, I've been forgetting to reply to this because life is busy and I'm an "out of sight, out of mind" kind of person.

After closer inspection, it seems that enhanced notifications are allegedly handled entirely on-device, so I've removed that advice entirely. Thanks for bringing it up.
