Selecting text inside a code segment has a strange UI #198

When trying to selecting text in a code segment I get this weird behavior where the text goes back and forth between fonts. Specifically when I select from the bottom to the top and I get to the first line.

Seems to be related to the related to the codeblock code, selecting probably restyles it back to base.
