  • ensure GH_TOKEN is defined for projects that need to publish packages or update lockfiles
  • ensure NPM_TOKEN is defined for projects that need to publish packages or install private packages
  • ensure NPM_TOKEN is written to .npmrc for projects that need to install private packages
  • ensure .npmrc ends with a newline so that appending the token is on a separate line
