Hm, the filters are up to date according to the configuration.

user also has to refresh the page and not open another mail first.

Never occured to me that refreshing the page after updating might not be done by everyone, thanks.

gmail is a "long lived" page, so if you don't refresh it you will still be able to open new mails and the filter will still be injected.
