I am not entirely sure what you mean by "stereo camereas instead of RGB cameras", as stereo cameras are just two RGB cameras, merely mounted next to each other. Unfortunately, we did not have access to ready-made and factory-calibrated stereo cameras, and thus had to use manually positioned normal webcams.
In theory, if the cameras are properly calibrated and mounted securely and have the same inter-lens distance, the results should be identical.
