Hi, thank you for your vast-tools, which made it easy for me to analyze mice and zebrafish. But now I still need medaka's splicing information, which is not found in VastDB. Should I create my own information? How do I get started?

Hello,

Unfortunately, we don't have a way for users to generate custom libraries. This is to a large extent because a point of vast-tools (and a weakness) is that each event has its own stable ID to be synchronized with VastDB. Therefore, it has to be centralized (a little bit like Ensembl).

That all said, we were planning to build Medaka at some point, so we can start it ASAP. If you are interested, please send me an email ([email protected]).

Thanks
