When tapping on "Jump to first unread", replies no longer work (also affects search results and permalinks)

Describe the bug
When tapping the "Jump to first unread message" banner and then long-tapping a message to quote-reply to it, the text input area is not shown and hence no message can be written.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go into a room with lots of unread messages
2. Tap on the "Jump to first unread message" banner
3. Long-tap a message, select quote
4. See the input area missing

Expected behavior
The input area should be there, allowing me to write a reply.ppen.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

• Device: iPhone 11 Pro Max
• OS: 14.1
• Browser: Firefox, but I guess that's irrelevant
• Version: This has been a problem from the very first Riot iOS version I used to the latest Element iOS version on the App Store

Additional context
Scrolling all the way down manually and then scrolling all the way up manually again and then replying works.

reproduced this - i've never spotted it as i never use the 'jump to first unread' bar. it's an eyesore (cc @manuroe)

Adding to this via #5145 that the same behaviour is seen when trying to reply to a message from the unified search screen or from a permalink.

The cause is that the composer is hidden for some reason when not viewing a live timeline, so there is nowhere to type a reply or a normal message.
