Your use case

What would you like to do?

As a widget creator I want to be able to receive updates when a user changes the theme or language of the element client.

Why would you like to do it?

When the theme or language of element changes the widget should change accordingly.

How would you like to achieve it?

MSC2873 already specifies actions for theme_change and language_change but these are not implemented yet.

Have you considered any alternatives?
