Hello Vaclav!

I think the line from Index.chtml

var path = window.location.pathname;

should be replaced with

var path = window.location.pathname.replace(/\/$/, "");

in order to remove trailing slash from pathname. Otherwise we getting double slash inside url:
http://localhost/demo//api/workservice 404 (Not Found)
