Is your feature request related to a specific issue? Please provide more details.
The snapshot functionality is currently not implemented. You can refer to this link for more information: not implemented.
Describe the desired solution.
I would like to be able to take snapshots of Persistent Volumes (PVs).
Explain any alternative solutions you’ve considered.
I need to work with some database files, but unfortunately, this is not possible when there’s an active process that has opened files on that filesystem. On larger-scale providers (confirmed on GCP and AWS), I was able to take a snapshot to work with files on a separate pod.
Provide any additional relevant context.
I understand that this feature is currently only available for VPS local storage in the UI. However, I would greatly appreciate the ability to create snapshots of Block Storage as well!
