So, given the resolution of w3c/csswg-drafts#5710 can we close out the needs-resolution?

yes I think thats fine @svgeesus , though from reading through the issue discussion I wasn't able to get a sense from the CSSWG what they think the best way forward is, or if there are plans for mitigation in future specs.

I'm hoping to figure out which case this falls in:

  1. Can't be fixed in the current spec, but we know how to fix in the next version
  2. Can't be fixed in the current spec, and we don't know how to fix in the next version, but commit / expect to fixing in the next version
  3. There are no plans to address going forward

  1. Can't be fixed in the current spec, and we think the information is already leaked by MediaQueries so the future effort will be to make a more privacy-preserving MediaQuery while still preserving the A11y features

Again requesting that this issue be closed, unless there is disagreement on the resolution?
