How to use the Beta version of the extension

Installing

Thank you for your interest in testing! You should understand before installing that the beta version is likely to be less stable than the production version of the extension, the trade off being that you get to try new features earlier help shape the extension by providing feedback on features before they're released.

Install the beta version from the Chrome Webstore

After installing it is encouraged that you disable the stable version of the extension. (you can identify which is which by knowing the beta version will always be a higher version number). The two versions of the extension can conflict if you use the dark theme and Dev Menu/UI Tweaks.

Also your settings from the stable version do not sync to the beta version nor vice versa, they act as if they are separate extensions. So you will need to toggle any settings that you want on.

Found a bug?

Please report any bugs you find into the slack channel or into the GitHub Issues 👍. We are very attentive to feedback and especially appreciate it from beta users as it prevents the issues from being in the stable version where it could negatively affect a lot more users.

If a bug is significantly annoying you can always disable the beta version and re-enable the stable version.

You can also try force updating the extension, there's a chance someone's fixed it because they too got annoyed ;P
