Looking for a better joystick

As a start I am using KY-23 type joysticks; however, you get what you pay for - their resolution is pretty bad and does not really allow speed control of the jog motion; it's more of a move or stop type of control. While this is ok for rough positioning of the axises I was wondering whether anybody has had better experiences with other types of joysticks such as the JH-D400X-R4.
