It would be nice to have an option to export Preferences and import them from the backup.

Why I request this feature?

There are a lot of settings. Moving them from one device to another isn't an easy task.
It's even harder task when it's not moving from another device, but after reinstalling on the same device.
Such a feature is already available in many open-source apps, e.g. NewPipe.

Additional info:

I think it would be the best to export settings to a text format like JSON.
Plain export and import will be enough. There's no need to do anything more fancy, since these are only settings.

Thank you, that sounds like a good idea. This could allso include resetting the preferences to the factory default.
