Story
When a user reassociates child Oids using the Reassociate Child OIDs batch process, the caption and label information is removed from the child object, even if the batch process columns for caption and label contain no data. This information should be retained when moving child objects; information should only be removed when a user adds _blank_ to a cell in the batch process template

Stakeholders believe this information was previously retained by the batch process. The change must have happened sometime before Monday, June 26th.

  • Stakeholder used Batch Process 12976 to export the child information.
  • Stakeholder used Batch Process 12977 to reassociate the child oids.
  • The spreadsheet for 12977 does not contain spaces in the label column

This was recreated in UAT with export Batch Process 1466 and reassociate Batch Process 1467

Acceptance

  • Reassociate Child OIDs batch process retains original child OID label data when the batch process label column is empty
  • Reassociate Child OIDs batch process retains original child OID caption data when the batch process caption column is empty
