Rethink Yii::t() syntax #295

This is following on from the discussion here: http://www.yiiframework.com/forum/index.php/topic/43147-backward-compatibility-questions/page__view__findpost__p__205047 onwards.

About rethinking the yii::t('app|something'); syntax.
Possible suggestions have been:

Use array for category/messages field - http://www.yiiframework.com/forum/index.php/topic/43147-backward-compatibility-questions/page__view__findpost__p__205047
make message a unrequired field so if only one param is used then it uses a default category. - http://www.yiiframework.com/forum/index.php/topic/43147-backward-compatibility-questions/page__view__findpost__p__205205
leave as it was in yii 1.1
Completely changing the syntax to match other frameworks - http://www.yiiframework.com/forum/index.php/topic/43147-backward-compatibility-questions/page__view__findpost__p__205223
