We added manually on https://github.com/yithemes/yith-proteo/blob/master/header.php#L86 but there isn't an action so we copied the file in our child.
That file is important for all the code that contain, so in a child is not easy to keep updated if we need to keep a modified version.

I also think that it's a good nice to have in order to better balance the "logo centered" layout option you have in the customizer.

It potentially can be used for multi-language switcher and/or providing other useful information (customer care number, stores locator, link to chat, etc).
