New Block Model created not showing up in sidebar

Describe the bug
After creating a new block model, this did not show up in the list of block models in the sidebar but no error showed up and the block model was actually created. When creating the variant, the popup is also not showing the name of the block model. Needed to refresh the page for this to get fixed in the UI.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Blocks
2. Create a Block Model
3. See first issue
4. Create a Variant
5. See second issue

Expected behavior
The new block model will show up in the list of block models in the sidebar and the name of the block model will show up when creating a variant
