I decided to create a new npm package with my changes since the project I forked from seems to have been inactive for several months and I felt some of my changes, such as getting Google Pay working, were major enough to warrant publishing a new package if the old package was inactive. The new package can be installed using npm install @butter1484/react-native-braintree-dropin-ui
