Releases: CatharsisFonts/Cormorant
Cormorant v3.609
Added support for Pe̍h-ōe-jī (POJ) as requested.
Fixed an issue with Italic ligatures. Some ligatures had been previously deactivated when the manually written LIGA code was replaced by an auto-generated version. Not quite sure how that happened.
Rebalanced some accent design and placement.
Touched up a few things here and there.
Cormorant v3.601
Reinstated a few OpenType features that had inexplicably vanished from the source files.
Added the SS02 features to the Infant fonts.
Fixed some faulty Cyrillic glyphs.
Added some space-like and zero-width characters by request.
Fixed broken triangular arrow glyph.
Cormorant v3.504
Only two very small changes since the last release:
- Reworked the capital Eszett
- Fixed the broken f_f_f ligature.
The last issue is bad enough to warrant a new issue, though. I'm amazed it survived so long!
Cormorant v3.500
Some OpenType features were dropped in the previous version due to another, unrelated Glyphs bug. This problem should be fixed now.
Cormorant v3.400
A much-needed official release of the fixes introduced since v3.3.
(A few grave alignment errors were introduced during Google Fonts mastering due to a short-lived but insidious bug in Glyphs. This version should be clean again.)
Cormorant v3.3
Significant overhaul and expansion of the Cyrillic inventory based on reviews by Alexei Vanyashin. See the Google Fonts forum threads on Cormorant for details.
Also replaced a few more characters in the Garamond style, especially /A and /R, whose tiny counters looked out of place there.
Hopefully this is the version that will be used for a Google Fonts update soon.
Cormorant v3.2
I finally fixed a glitch that led to some characters missing in the SC and Unicase fonts (e.g., the @ sign). The reason for that was a bug (yes, Georg, it's a bug!) in Glyphs that causes glyph replacement and components to interact irresponsibly.
I hope Google Fonts will update their release soon...
Cormorant v3.0
This is the version to be included in Google Fonts. Yay!
Warning: I had to change the naming of the Book and Semibold weights to Medium and SemiBold, respectively, to comply with Google standards. Users of the previous releases might have to make a few changes to existing documents, which still use the old fonts... Or just keep the old Book and Semibold files installed for a while longer as an interim measure.
Cormorant v2.7
Raised arrows and bullet to work better with mixed case. Improved /apostrophemod (for Navajo etc.).
Cormorant v2.6
One more release before the Google Fonts entry! Cleaned up punctuation for tabular number sets — their widths are no longer linked to the figure width, just consistent among weights and cuts. Made dashes longer; that has been bothering me for a while.
