Smaller increments between zoom levels

Not sure if it's possible or if the zoom levels are very specific because of the art, but it would be cool to have an extra step or two in between zoom levels. With the zoom as is I usually feel like I'm too far away to see detail as well as I'd like, or too close to see as much of the map as I'd like. Even if it came with a caveat that the art might be a little wonky at certain steps I think it might be an improvement.
