On top of this code, there is also this branch with the old code reformated so that it works.

The steps that I have used to install a good version of qiskit are:

Install latest version of python
Install h5py 2.10.0 (aqua needs a version that is older than xx. So if you just install qiskit, the version of h5py will not satisfy that and you might run into problems.)
Install qiskit aqua
Install latest version of qiskit on top of that to get newer features (Necessary).
