[No QA] just use regular echo for prettier lint

Details

I tried to get fancy and use shellUtils to display errors in red, but it didn't work. Didn't catch this before because the lint was passing by the time I added this change in the original PR.

• If a new CSS style is added I verified that:
  • A similar style doesn't already exist
