This was discussed at length in #139 Unlike disposable email services such as mailinator which are disposed immediately, sneakemail is a long-lived email privacy service. The email addresses created are permanent and last until the user manually decides to delete it (usually because it was used to register at a website that has been hacked and leaked its user database). I believe it is the original email privacy service of this nature, recently popularized by Apple's Hide My Mail, Firefox Relay, Simplelogin. |
