Balatro Translations Auto Install (Work in progress)

A simple script to auto install localization of Balatro (only French for the moment).

If you'd like to see your translation files added to the tool, feel free to send me the link to these files and I'll upgrade the script to add a language choice.

(FR) Comment utiliser le script ?

Linux (SteamDeck)

1. Fermez Balatro
2. Passez en mode bureau.
3. Téléchargez le script Balatro_Localization_Installer_Linux.sh (Ctrl+Shift+S).
4. Faire clic-droit sur le script Balatro_Localization_Installer_Linux.sh et choisir Run In Konsole.
5. Le script télécharge et installe automatiquement la dernière version de Balamod et le dernier fichier de traduction.
6. A la fin de l'installation, vous pouvez choisir de supprimer ou non les fichiers téléchargés. (à la prochaine execution, seul le fichier de traduction sera re-téléchargé si Balamod n'a pas reçu de mise à jour et que les fichiers n'ont pas été supprimés).
7. Vous pouvez maitenant relancer Balatro, sélectionner la langue Française et profiter !

Important : Ce script doit être executé à chaque nouvelle mise à jour du jeu.

Windows

1. Fermez Balatro
2. Téléchargez le fichier Balatro_Localization_Installer_Windows.cmd (Ctrl+Shift+S)
3. Double cliquer sur le fichier Balatro_Localization_Installer_Windows.cmd ou lancez-le depuis une console.
4. Si vous avez SmartScreen activé sur votre ordinateur, vous devez forcer l'execution.
5. Si Steam n'est pas installé dans C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam, le programme vous demande de sélectionner le fichier Balatro.exe.
6. Le script télécharge et installe automatiquement la dernière version de Balamod et le dernier fichier de traduction.
7. A la fin de l'installation, vous pouvez choisir de supprimer ou non les fichiers téléchargés. (à la prochaine execution, seul le fichier de traduction sera re-téléchargé si Balamod n'a pas reçu de mise à jour et que les fichiers n'ont pas été supprimés).
8. Vous pouvez maitenant relancer Balatro, sélectionner la langue Française et profiter !

(EN) How to use the script ?

Linux (SteamDeck)

2. Switch to desktop mode.
3. Download the script Balatro_Localization_Installer_Linux.sh (Ctrl+Shift+S)
4. Right click on the script Balatro_Localization_Installer_Linux.sh and choose Run In Konsole.
5. The script automatically downloads and installs the latest version of Balamod and the latest translation file.
6. At the end of the installation, you can choose whether or not to delete the downloaded files. (At the next run, only the translation file will be re-downloaded if Balamod has not received an update and the files have not been deleted).
7. You can now launch Balatro, select the French language and enjoy!

Important: This script must be run every time the game is updated.

Windows

1. Close Balatro
2. Download the file Balatro_Localization_Installer_Windows.cmd (Ctrl+Shift+S)
