Abstract not truncated in resource list #7679

Expected Behavior

The abstract in the resource list should be truncated, as it used to be.

Actual Behavior

The abstract is not clipped.
Also, at the end of the text there are still the ellipsis even if the text is not truncated.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. Edit the abstract in an exisiting resource or in a new one.
  2. look at it in the resource list

Specifications

  • GeoNode version: 3.2.x (as of 2021-06-17)

It seems that the regression has been introduced in this commit:

48fa8a2#diff-19bb168ce862f09ee052e7f746fbbecaecbce9d682e3413e8d475217944a683aR69

as part of a wider change.
