• 1.1 Task: Update the Generalist Repository Selection Flowchart (version 1) based on feedback received in Y3, and using updated information gathered in Generalist Repository Comparison Chart (version 4).

Year 3

• GREI 1: Task 1 - Conduct a comprehensive internal review of the Generalist Repository Comparison Chart to improve clarity, transparency, and usability. #125
• HDV submit updated comparison chart information for version 4 of comparison chart, using new attributes and definitions from GREI tasks 1.1

• The coopetition group is completing tasks 1.1 and 1.2 for this objective. The Epic: GREI Repository Comparison Chart Task Group was formed in early April 2024 to revise, update, and publish a new version of the GREI Repository Comparison Chart.
• Once these tasks are complete, HDV will need to update responses to V4 of the comparison chart based

• A full draft of the GREI comparison chart attributes and definitions was finalized, shared with, and reviewed by GREI members. Review by non-GREI members will be sought in the next quarter.

• Task group members created a Google Forms survey and distributed it to external stakeholders to collect feedback about the GREI Comparison Chart draft. Feedback was reviewed and incorporated into a final version that was sent to GREI repositories for completion by 13 December 2024.

• Members of the Dataverse team participated in two Desirable Repository Characteristics task groups this quarter. The GREI Comparison Chart comprehensive internal review was completed, feedback was sought and received from external reviewers and the final draft is being prepared.
