LMMS clumsily interacts with VST #4828
Comments
#2 might be solved if you change your plugin embedding mode in the user
preferences. For me, embedding with windows API works best

1. I tried to work with ReaPlugs - https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/ in
LMMS. LMMS loads em but plugs Interface has no response... I can load
presets in LMMS Vestige window but I cant manage plugs by internal
elements. They work in another DAW.
2. When I change focus from (any) VST window to another I cant back it
by clicking on internal interface of it. I must to click on border or title
of VST window to back focus.
3. After reloading a project and pressing button Controls in FX Chains
of mixer on VST FX then LMMS shows empty window or VST window with
rectangle in right top. Need to press button Show/hide a few times to show
it ok.
Will it get fixed or its' a system problem?

I have tried REA-plugins too, and they did not worked. It is a long time ago, so i think it was with 1.1.3. on win32 @NETMANSKY, you do not mention your OS, nor your LMMS installed ?? |
On Windows7 64 bits I used and still use reaplugs a lot, and no problem besides adding a new band (for example on the ReaEq) crashed LMMS in 1.1.3 |
@Spekular it REALLY WORKS!!! aLL questions are solved. Thank you. |
@DomClark is this another focus bug duplicate? |
It's a bit hard to tell, but I don't think so. @NETMANSKY what operating system and version of LMMS are you using? |
Closing and consolidating into #5433 |
