Releases: MichaelDeets/HorizonMW-Client
v1.3.1 2025/02/28
Update to new master server list
v1.3.1 STAGING 2024/10/24
This is a staging release of the Linux-only build for HorizonMW. The staging build has been based of the 2024/10/24 release of the main/non-staging HorizonMW-Client for Linux, meaning it has retained the various updated submodules.
All changes can be seen using a comparison between v1.3.1 and the staging branch.
In this staging release, stats are stored within the hmwdta
and hmwcdta
files; prior to this staging release, previously named h2mdta
and h2mcdta
files were renamed, replacing the h2m prefix with hmw, though the client still looked for the h2m prefixed versions. This has been fixed in this staging release. Make a backup of the players2 folder being doing any permanent changes.
If you want to build for yourself, make sure to update the tag name from v1.3.1-staging to just v1.3.1 otherwise servers will show as "out-of-date" despite being on the future release build.
If there are any problems using this build, please refer to using the main/non-staging 2024/10/24 release before reporting anything.
v1.3.1 2024/10/23
Updated and working Linux build, with usual optimizations.
I have no idea why it wasn't working before, but even the WIP build works now.
This build is based on the latest main branch of HorizonMW-Client, so it is using older dependencies than the build from v1.3.0. Will update later.
v1.3.1 2024/10/19
Initial v1.3.1 Linux build (WIP)
v1.3.0 2024/10/12
Updated to v1.3.0
v1.2.0 2024/10/07
Updated binary to latest version
v1.1.0 2024/10/01
Updated binary.
v1.1.0 2024/10/04
Updated various dependencies, refactored as git submodules.
Compiled with various optimizations that are not default, including "-O2" and more.
Note: Such as with the previous build, this will not launch outside of WINE. Attempting to launch with Windows will instantly crash the game.
v1.1.0 2024/10/04 EXPERIMENTAL (AVX512)
This build has various optimizations that should improve performance, but might cause issues during usual operation.
