Version 0.2.13 Pre-release
Pre-release

This release changes the way Articulate manages its configuration file so that it will automatically add new executables to the list of monitored applications on startup. This should help resolve any issues with ArmA 3 x64 on the computers of people who have previously run versions older than v0.2.12 and failed to remove their configuration file.

Version 0.2.12

Version 0.2.12 Pre-release
Pre-release

This release adds support for the 64-bit ArmA 3 executable (currently on the dev-branch). Existing users will need to remove their config file (%AppData%\Roaming\Articulate\config.dat) to realize the changes. Please double check what your current settings are before removing it to prevent losing them.

Steps to Update

  1. Install the latest version of Articulate and open it up.
  2. Write down your current settings as you will need to clear them.
  3. Close Articulate.
  4. Open the run dialog by pressing Win+R.
  5. Run the following to open the Articulate config directory: %AppData%\Roaming\Articulate
  6. Rename config.dat to config.backup.dat. If you only see config, rename it to config.backup.
  7. Open Articulate again and configure your settings as they were.
  8. Launch ArmA 3 in x64 mode, it should be detected and work with Articulate.

If you run into any issues, close Articulate, copy your config.backup.dat file back to config.dat and start it again -your settings should be as you had them previously. If Articulate still isn't detecting ArmA 3 in x64 mode, please post a message in #87 so we can help you resolve the problem.

Comments

Hello everyone,
I've made this release since there were a few small issues which needed to be addressed, there was a new translation in the pipeline and I think it's about time we got some kind of automated error reporting tool integrated with Articulate to help make both your lives, and ours, a little bit easier. There aren't any new features, but I encourage you to update anyway - especially if Articulate has been crashing for you - as it will give us the opportunity to fix issues which might not have been caught otherwise.

Comments

Sorry that it's taken so long to get this release out - I know it was in high demand but I simply didn't have access to my development system over the holidays and wasn't able to compile/test the latest version to make sure it worked.

I trust you've all had a good holiday nontheless, and just in time for the release of Campaign Episode 2: 'Adapt' here's the latest version of Articulate with the team selections feature fixed.

I'm still really busy getting things organized, and will be for the next week and a bit, but feel free to leave comments, bug reports and feature requests and I'll try my best to address those I can given my available time.
