As we complete our deliverables and engage with the community, GREI members should capture new and emerging ideas in this Parking Lot document. All new items should be categorized into areas that map to our GREI Coopetition Objectives. These are drawn from the Objectives described in the image above and listed in the “Statement of Milestones and Objectives (SOM) for Generalist Repository Ecosystem Initiative (GREI)“ in each repository’s NIH agreement.

Implement an initial set for consistent metadata models to enable discovery of NIH funded data in Generalist Repositories
Parking lot: Search & Browse #46
Implementation of ability to browse and search within the repository and work with the other funded Generalist Repositories to develop browse and search capabilities across awarded repositories.

Implement generalist repository use cases, cross repository use cases, and community imputed use cases.

Enable connection between digital objects, including data, software, publications, researchers, grants, institutions, and other relevant information as determined by NIH.

Provide evidence and capabilities to perform limited QA/QC on ingested data, including data and metadata versioning.
Conduct outreach and support and prepare Training Materials (as well as the support evolving Community Engagement activities).
