Welcome to the BlockHunt wiki!

Here you'll be able to learn everything there is to know about Nucleoid's BlockHunt minigame.

Gameplay:

BlockHunt is a popular Minecraft mini-game where players can hide as blocks within the game world. It's somewhat similar to hide and seek, but with a twist. Here's a simple explanation of the gameplay:

  1. Players: BlockHunt is typically played with multiple players, both hiders and seekers. The number of players can vary, but it's more fun with a decent-sized group.

  2. Roles:

    • Hiders: Hiders are players who disguise themselves as various blocks in the Minecraft world. Their goal is to blend in and avoid being caught by the seekers.
    • Seekers: At the beginning of the game, one player is assigned as the initial seeker. Their goal is to find and tag hiders. As seekers catch hiders, more seekers are added to their team.
  3. Gameplay:

    • At the beginning of the game, one player is designated as the seeker, and the rest become hiders. Seekers are given the task of finding and tagging hiders to eliminate them.
    • Hiders are given some time to choose a block to disguise themselves as and find a spot to hide. They must try to look inconspicuous and blend in with the surroundings.
    • As the initial seeker tags hiders, those hiders join the seeker team, and they work together to find and tag the remaining hiders.
    • The game continues until all hiders are found and tagged or there's a time limit.
  4. Winning:

    • If all hiders are found and tagged, the seekers win.
    • If there's a time limit, and there are still hiders left, the hiders win.

BlockHunt is all about strategy, clever disguises, and teamwork if you're playing with friends. It's a fun and engaging mini-game that adds a unique twist to the Minecraft experience.
