Enable the edit link on the doc site. This will redirect to pages for a direct editing like :
https://github.com/PegaSysEng/pantheon/edit/master/docs/Permissions/Permissioning.md
But if you are part of the Pegasys team it won't force you to use a fork, only if you are an external contributor. So please take care to go through the regular process (fork, clone, PR) if you are internal contributor.
