This is a shortened sprint as I'm support hero next week, so it makes sense to focus on "Nail Quality" as other teams are doing. Effectively this means smoothening out rough edges where they exist.

I’ve taken a bit of a turn following some new developments. My priorities now are:

Snowflake plugin tweaks and support

All was working well for TS but they requested a feature that I haven’t managed to nail just yet, need to fix. Some queries seem to be popping up from others on Slack too.

ClickHouse duplicate distinct IDs

Karl briefed me today on the issue and there are a few actionable steps + quite a lot of investigating to do

Snowplow integration

I’m in contact with Snowplow to write up an integration that would allow sending data to us from them. They’re the last big CDP remaining on our list.

Again, I’m support hero next week but the spare time I have will go to the above.

Retrospective

I was support hero the second week. Still managed to get quite a bit done.

Highlights

From the updated list, everything got done:

• Figured out CH duplicate distinct IDs (the bulk of my time was spent doing this)
• Updated the Snowflake plugin to a point that it is now fully ready for usage by TS (+ support to them and other users of the plugin)
• Started talks with Snowplow about an integration

And some additional tasks got accomplished:

• Handle moveDistinctIds race conditions #524
• Add more contrast between official and community plugins posthog#5448
• Do not load toolbar when disabled posthog-js#264
