What is RedMew?

RedMew is a factorio community hosting servers with unique maps. We use scenario code to generate our maps and the extra tools in-game that are not included in vanilla factorio. We have many preset maps but we also hope that our tools are straightforward enough to allow people to remix their own version of a particular map.

Using RedMew's maps

There are several ways to download and use our maps, these are laid out in the user guide.

TL;DR - Download the scenario, unzip it so your file structure is \Factorio\Scenarios\Redmew\(scenario files), open and edit map_selection.sample.lua to choose your map, save as map_selection.lua and load the scenario.
