Thanks for finding the root - meanwhile, as a stopgap ] add [email protected] until it gets fixed

I still get ERROR: LoadError: Failed to precompile OrdinaryDiffEqDefault [50262376-6c5a-4cf5-baba-aaf4f84d72d7] to "~/.julia/compiled/v1.11/OrdinaryDiffEqDefault/jl_V3SGz9". when adding and precompiling OrdinaryDiffEq from the last commit (which supposedly fixed the bug). Do you have any advise on how to avoid this error?

I have only added OrdinaryDiffEq through ] add https://github.com/SciML/OrdinaryDiffEq.jl.git. I have never explicitly added OrdinaryDiffEqCore but I guess it does it under the hood since it is part of OrdinaryDiffEq, isn't it?

If I do ] status only OrdinaryDiffEq is listed, while if I explicitly do ] status OrdinaryDiffEqCore I get No Matches in Project.toml.

When I look into Manifest.toml I can see that the version of OrdinaryDiffEqCore is 1.15.0. Do I need to explicitly add its latest version [email protected]?

Edit: I explicitly added [email protected] through ] add [email protected] and now everything is precompiling!

I think that the deps/compat of OrdinaryDiffEq should be changed in order to directly add [email protected] instead of [email protected] when adding OrdinaryDiffEq.

I am not an expert of Julia, otherwise I would do it myself.
