More tool refinements and example idioms

Layout improvements. New script for checking URLs...

The check-external-links.sh script checks that external URLs in the markdown files, any links starting with http, have a {:target="foo"} setting. The script may not detect "false positives", but should mostly be accurate.

Template bug fixes

Fixed cases where the wrong template keyword was used in several places.

Added a "contributors" list placeholder.

Bug fixes

Hardens and extends the capabilities of the create-microsite.sh script.
