What do rows represent?

We've been assuming that each row represents values of features for a single identified synapse. Is this correct?

i believe so.
or a "putative" synapse.
many of the rows might be noise.
we could try to be robust to many noisy samples, or figure out which ones
are noisy, and discard them.
