Is this happening for anything in a popover?
Maybe we can add border-box styling to all descendants of this popover wrapper element, rather than modifying individual components:

I tried to make the fix more general though so that it will work out of the box across editors, or even when the component is used independently outside of any editor.
If we expect the style to be defined when using these components, then we should probably document it somewhere somehow.

I think it is expected to be defined globally, otherwise wouldn't ever single element need to have this style rule?

On searching, I do see the style rule defined a lot more than I initially thought I would.
It looks like most places are using this reset mixin to apply border-box:

I included the reset CSS in 9d08356.
But c.c. @youknowriad, what do you think should be the preferable way to do this? Include the reset CSS globally, or inline the necessary resets to the component? What's the convention now?

Description
Resolve some of #31958.
This PR resolves the following bugs in the original issue:
Most of the styling fixes here are caused by incorrect
box-sizingmodel. Some of the elements are using bothwidthandpaddingbut implicitly expecting the element to havebox-sizingofborder-box. It's hardcoded somewhere in the parent withbox-sizing: inheritin the post editor, but that wouldn't work with editors that don't have that parent.A more general fix would be to explicitly specifyI ended up usebox-sizing: border-boxto those elements as there seem to be no other available values for them anyway. Let me know if you have concerns or alternative solutions!@include resetto add the missing reset CSS style to the customizer to better match the current convention.How has this been tested?
Test it manually by creating the blocks in the Widgets customizer.
