Add ability to cycle between montage profiles #419
Comments
I think its a pretty nice idea. How about making it more generic (and easier) - I already support multiple monitor profiles today where you can hide/un-hide different monitors. So you already have an ability to show X monitors per group in any arrangement you want and you switch between them. So how about we just add the ability to cycle between montage profiles? Would that do what you want? |
That's even better, adding cycle support to the montage profiles is perfect! |
cool, so do you want to do it if you want to learn ionic/angular? Or do you want me to do it? I'm fine with both. |
I'll try to take a look at setting up and environment to start hacking on it with, but I have no idea when I can get to it ;) |
… testing, but I never really test thoroughly. Where is the fun in that? #419
@davglass - do you compile from source? If so give it a go. If not, please sign up for the android beta channel https://medium.com/zmninja/android-zmninja-open-beta-please-join-c6ef280ae8a8#.3a77cwc38 - I'll release a beta early next week 1.2.36 |
I don't use android and I haven't compiled the app yet.. I plan too as soon as I get a chance.. |
oh sorry - I thought you did. do you use the desktop version? I can send you a link of a compiled version with that feature you let me know which desktop version (and 32/64bit) |
done |
I'd love to see a cycle view that you can show 4 cameras at once (seems to be a nice look and other CCTV's display this way). Then you could run the app at full screen on a TV/Monitor and you have a nice looking rotating view of all the cameras. And not just one at a time.
If you think this is a nice feature, I'll look into contributing it. I've always wanted to learn Angular anyway :)
If not, feel free to close this..
